Manager evaluation

Trust Associates has formed a joint venture with PiRho Investment Consulting to offer a specialist, independent manager evaluation service to the boards of investment companies. The AIC Code of Corporate Governance states that it should become best practice for boards to review annually the performance of their manager and also that they should consider the merit of a regular independent appraisal, which can often be beneficial for the relationship between a board and their investment manager, especially where any embryonic problems exist.
