Rod Birkett joined Trust Associates in 2006 and focuses on both Non-Executive Director Search and consulting activities such as board appraisals.  He has held several senior positions in the investment management industry with JPMorgan Fleming and Thames River Capital.

He was a member of the Executive Committee of Robert Fleming Asset Management, and held responsibility at various times for Closed End Funds, Alternative Investments, as well as the Institutional business and Sales in the UK.

Sally Birkett joined Trust Associates in 2007 to establish the pension trustee search business recruiting independent Chairmen, trustees and investment committee advisers for pension fund boards.

In her earlier career, Sally worked as an institutional stockbroker and analyst specialising in Japanese equities and derivatives with WI Carr and BZW in London and Tokyo before moving into Executive Search at Stephen’s Associates in the City.  Here she gained considerable experience of recruiting senior executives within the Asian and Japanese fund management and stock broking industry.

Richard Clarke co-founded Trust Associates in 2002 and since then has been involved in a wide range of projects including board evaluations, directors’ fee appraisals and strategic research.

He was formerly UK Retail Marketing Director at Mercury Asset Management and before that Head of Advertising and Direct Marketing with M&G Group.

George Kershaw co-founded Trust Associates in 2002 and has focussed principally on Non-Executive Director search for investment companies, although he has also carried out a variety of other projects, including research into shareholder attitudes, share buy-backs and corporate governance.

He was head of global institutional sales at BZW for two years before moving to head the CSFB investment trust team from 1996 to 2000.  He sits on the AIC’s Executive Committee and has sat on various investment trust boards both onshore and offshore.

Susan Murray joined Trust Associates in February 2009 to develop and expand the range of services to the Scottish investment community.  Susan has over twenty years experience in the investment industry.

She has worked for The Stock Exchange, The WM Company, Baillie Gifford and most recently Glasgow Investment Managers where she was Marketing Director.

She has also been a non-executive director and currently sits on the Board of a Charity.

Simon Negretti joined Trust Associates in July 2009 to help develop and expand the Non-Executive director search business.

He has had a long career in the City and was most recently Managing Director at Hanson Green from 1993 to 2009.  During this time he worked on numerous assignments ranging from FTSE 100 Companies to Private Companies and built Hanson Green into one of the UK's leading Non-Executive search specialists.

Hugh Twiss co-founded Trust Associates in 2002 and has been involved in a wide variety of projects.

He was previously at Fleming Asset Management where he was a senior member of Flemings’ investment management operations, managed various investment companies and set up and ran a pension fund Joint Venture in Milan.

He is a director of a number of investment companies and has undertaken consultancy projects for various governmental and regulatory authorities.
